Knowing

Nicholas Cage film about knowing the future. I always love Sci-Fi movies, or at least like them. I liked this one. A cool idea, but it felt kind of slammed together. And Nicholas Cage as a brilliant code breaking scientist guy needs some work, or at least some more character development.

The meta-story of this kind of film to me, is Hollywood trying to tell us that we are doing something wrong to our planet. This movie was very similar to the Day the Earth Stood still with Keanu Reeves. Artists, or at least the kinds of artists that can have films made, think that we are doing something wrong and that we are screwing up our planet. This is what I take from this film.

This movie was kind of an interesting revenge flick. What would you do if someone that hurt your loved one came to you for help.

Apparently Hollywood thinks that we would kill them.
