The Simpsons Movie

I went to this movie the other day. I have to admit that I went to this movie twice and I might even buy the dvd when it comes out. I love the Simpsons. This movie did not disappoint from the very beginning with the Itchy and Scratchy cartoon. Good stuff all around. If you are into the Simpsons you probably have already seen this movie. Go ahead and see it again. You know you want to.

Ocean's Thirteen

I saw this movie the other day. I saw the other two, so how am I going to rationalize not seeing this one, especially with my admitted problem of going to too many movies. So, I went to it. It was pretty good. All the smug stars doing their smug best at acting. If you've seen the other two, go ahead and see this one. If not, skip it.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry

I saw this movie the other day. Adam Sandler at his best. Really good stuff. Not to be anti-gay or anything, but too bad it was all gay. I think Sandler and that guy from King of Queens worked great together. Hopefully they will team up again soon. Sandler's character was a great exaggeration. I would recommend this movie, but I know there are people that do not like Sandler movies, too bad for them.

Evan Almighty

I went to this movie the other day. I liked it. Re-telling of the ark story. I just recently heard a comedian bagging on the ark story the other day prior to seeing this movie, so I watched it with an impious attitude. This movie was very funny. Steve Carrell is awesome and that guy from Sesame Street was pretty good as god. I especially liked the gag reel at the end. One of my pet peeves are movies without gag reels. You know they make mistakes. I think in art the mistakes can often be the best part, especially in comedy. I would definitely recommend this movie.

Ratatouille

I saw this movie the other day. Good lord. Pretty sappy syrupy stuff here. A talking rat learning to cook. I don't know, rats in the kitchen, what are you going to do. I go to too many movies.
